Sermorelin
Sermorelin is a synthetic 29-amino acid analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-29), studied for its ability to stimulate the pituitary gland’s release of endogenous growth hormone in preclinical and clinical research.

Description
What is Sermorelin?Sermorelin (also known as GHRH 1-29 or GRF 1-29) is a synthetic peptide consisting of the first 29 amino acids of human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), the shortest fragment that retains the full biological activity of the 44-amino acid parent hormone.
Sermorelin functions as a growth hormone secretagogue. It binds to the GHRH receptor on somatotroph cells in the anterior pituitary, stimulating the synthesis and pulsatile release of the body’s own growth hormone. Because it works through the natural pituitary feedback loop, it is studied as a more physiological alternative to exogenous growth hormone in research models.
Sermorelin was first approved by the FDA in the 1990s as a diagnostic and therapeutic agent for growth hormone deficiency before commercial production was discontinued for business reasons. It has a short half-life of roughly 10 to 12 minutes and has been investigated in aging, sleep, and endocrine research.
Research-grade Sermorelin is sold strictly for laboratory and research purposes only.
